“My first big week-long trip!! I've done weekenders, but nuttin like this! Snail and I started last Saturday up Shuckstack. We made it to Newfound Gap by Wednesday morning. Cosby Knob by Friday, and then Mountain Moma's for a shower and a much-deserved cheeseburger.
Snail (he doesn't post here) and I kept hearing Towndawg's voice giving us advice, but we are stubborn folk!
Haven't posted in awhile, but good to hear Montanapoolooza was fun! Will be at Charit Creek in December!!”

Hope you enjoyed your birthday. For my 70th on 7/8 I had my picture taken, flying through the air upside down above the mat. I took an over-the-back throw and slam. Had to repeat it about 12 times for the photographers. Sent Phil a sequence of 6 photos depicting one throw. It may have been too much for his page and I did not insist that he insert the photos. Hope that you had as much fun on your birthday.”
