Just thought I'd share...
I can't claim to have composed this...

Due to the popularity of the Survivor shows, Montana is planning to do its
own, entitled "Survivor, Montana Style."

The contestants will start in Butte, travel to Missoula, Kalispell,
Whitefish, over to Great Falls, and east to Billings. They will then proceed
to Bozeman, on to Livingston, then southwest to Twin Bridges, Dillon, and
finally back to Butte. Each will be driving a pink Volvo with a bumper
sticker that reads, "I'm gay, I'm
a vegetarian, I voted for Al Gore, and I'm here to confiscate your guns!"

The first one to make it back to Butte alive wins!

Digger . . .
You wouldn't make it out of Butte.

However, if you did, and you got to Missoula, you would prolly be okay until you got to Billings . . . after that, NO WAY!

Mike, you can get in on it. You can hire me to be your personal, native guide around the state. I have been to or lived in all these cities/towns and can help you navigate the rough locals, the bad roads, and the skeery hill-billy infested backcountry. Oh, and I can also take you to the good bars (I've been to one, or two, in all those towns.)

That sounds like a good deal when do we start?

My grandfather is a member. He was not involved in the stand-off up there, but he's had his hand in some of their other crap. I don't go along w/ the whole thing at all, but doesn't everybody have a militant or two in the fam.?!! LOL! I just thought that was kind of a funny (minor) connection we had.

No militants in our (Montana) family, although my great uncle apparently killed my great grandfather in a fight and threw the body in the river, a fact we only recently discovered - we always thought he just ran off and was never seen again. The folks in Jordan knew all about it, even though it happened back in the 20's.

Oh yeah Marty. Very typical small town MT knowledge. There's an old lady who runs a tiny bar in my town. Apparently, way back in forever, two men had a gun battle over her. One of them was killed. She keeps the gun hung over the bar. The whole town still knows all about it. LOL! Gotta' love Montana.

Mike, you can come out anytime. We'd love to have ya'. Living in that big 'ol nasty city, I can show you what a real small town is like.
