“I ran out of DEET the following day at Tully Lk. That being said the lake was one of the most beautiful I've seen but the skeeters were voracious. The next night I backtracked to Virginia (I'm pretty sure it was the same camp y'all were in by the droppings on the ground) Then I hustled my butt out, I think I even passed you guys up, I hit Duck Pass by 11am that Tuesday. When I got to the trailhead Oldtimers Jeep was still there but for good measure I swung by Mels but no Llamas were presant.”

Now, if "car-camping" counts, I can add another seven nights, with 11 more planned. But it just ain't the same.”

“It's slow here at work, so I did some math. I figure I can somewhat realistically get in about 20 more bag nights by the year's end. My vacation time starts in early October which is great timing since the leaves start to change around then.”

“I am only a third the loser that Dunadan is although since one could argue that a straw bed disqualifies his night, I am infinately more cool.”

“It did by 4 days, part of the problem was that for the first 4 days I was loaning Steve DEET, at the time I didn't realize that would be the 4 days I lost. Nobody should have endured the area without DEET that week, he'll make it up to me somehow.”
