My name is Brandon and I'm new to this place. I was needing some information on a hiking trip and i figured there was no better place to ask than here. I need to know all about either Chilhowee (oh yea, i'm from tn) or Big Frog. I'm wanting to go up there this weekend but I don't know crap about either one. Anything at all would help. Thanks

i've been to cohutta and big frog a slew of times. i'll be up at big frog the weekend after next, too. big frog's trails are usually really overgrown, so you get that bushwhacking feeling, on the trail. cohutta is great, too, but they allow horsepackers in there. big frog will give you a little bit more solitude than cohutta, but you're likely to run into folks at either.

I appreciate all that advice. I reckon I'll go up to big frog then. I guess I'll have to bring a lantern cause I don't think they allow fires to be built up there. I may see you that weekend radagast, cause if i like it I'll probably go quit a bit.

Wolf Ridge, Barkleggin Lead, & Big Frog Trail are my favorite trails out there. Licklog was pretty grown up last time I was there.

Be sure to take percautions about bears. There's a mess of 'em there.
There one big BOB near the the Chimney top that goes around 400 pounds. He minds his on business though. Impressive sight. Seen him twice.

A 400 pound BOB ??? It must have one heck of a lot of "attachments".
