Yo! How old do ya think?

“How old do you think a kid should be to start hiking on a three or four day hike? I'm partial to fourth grade. Whatcha think?”

“Depends on the kid. Some kids take to it like a duck to water and others just can't handle it. Take the kind on a day hike or two and see how he/she handles it. Then maybe an overnighter.”

“I'm just waiting for my new baby girl to hold her head up so I can put her in my baby carrier backpack. I think I need to get some mosquito netting though - I can't use deet on her sensitive skin.”
