Had a pretty good time this weekend. Didn't hike quit as much as I wanted to, but still had fun. One thing that sorta bothered me a little bit was the grown up trails up there. Especially Fork Ridge Trail. Bout lost the trail a few times. But it was all fun. I would go back anytime.

ok thats great, but what about the frog? i was all geared up to hear of this enormous amphibian & all i get is weeds on the trail!

Big Frog Wilderness has big bears. I didn't name it, I just continue to call it that.

Actually, if you look at the mountain from Chilowee Mountain, it looks like a giant frog.

Love the Big Frog, did my first ultralight trip there over 2 years ago! Not one single bear for me too, dangit. Had me some ijit horseriders tho, member those ppl WD?

But never crossed from GA to TN.
I'll get Cohutta completed somedey, then I'll make the cross to the Other Side...

Yeah, it could use a bit of trail maintance on some of the lesser used trails. Fall would be the best time to tackle that area.
