Yeah, I know it's still July...
But, you can never plan far enough in advance.

Is anyone interested in doing a weekend in a cabin like we did last December?

Keep in mind that the odds of finding a place as cheap (and as small!) as the last one are pretty slim. But, will do everything I can to keep it pretty cheap.

Just gimme an idea if you think you'd want to go so I can get a preliminary headcount. Saying 'yeah' will, in no way, commit you to the trip.

Geez, didn't the cabin last year cost like 3 bucks per person. I'd be willing to go $10 or $15 this year:) And that sounds like a "Yes."

So, where you thinking?

Yeah, it was like a buck per square foot. :)

In all seriousness... It came out to like $25 a person. TOTAL! And, that included food.

I'm pretty sure it won't be that cheap again.

But, maybe this time, we'll have more beds!!!

I haven't figured out a where yet. I have a bunch of Mich rental home info. So, I'll get started on it. Looking like another big crowd. I'll see what I can find.

SG - my feelings are hurt... I know that the chili was good and all, but was it so good ya forgot that I cooked a couple meals?

How about dinner on Saturday? The Mexican Fiesta... Tacos/Nachos/Burritos.

SG - I'm just giving you a hard time. That chili was darn good. It was sure better than anything I prepared.

I was thinking about planning a January trip to the Porcupine Mountains and getting one or two of the bunkhouses on Mirror Lake. It wouldn't be as cheap as your trip last year but it would be a blast! Plenty of cross country skiing, down hill, snow shoeing and even snowmobiling. Just a thought.

All those years in the U.P. and I never made it to the Porkies.

Only problem with that trip is it would call for some vacation days. I'm already thinking about a vacation to Florida in January.

Sunshine - I couldn't commit right now. But, it definitely sounds intriguing.
