where to backpack near I-77 in NC ? “I have a trip coming up going basically straight through North Carolina on I-77 if I can drive (headed just over the border to Lancaster, South Carolina) so I am looking for backpacking ideas - whats good that is relatively close to I-77? The plan I have is to drive down and either backpack before the 2 day training session or after - generally I am looking at at least 2 nights and possibly 3.” 5:01:50 PM 8/03/02 :) “Linville is west of 77 in NC.
