Republicans, Democrats.. they all suck!

“There are too many morons running things, how can we change this? How can we change the system where liberls scare stupid people, and recruit educated people who think thier righteous, and conservatives buy thier way into elections, and gather votes by playing the religion card.

Let's start electing some people that make sense and have some balls for pete's sake (no, I'm not excluding women with the "balls" comment).

CLASSIC VERSION

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his
house and laying up supplies for the winter. The grasshopper thinks he's

he dies out in the cold.

next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled
with food. "America" is stunned by the sharp contrast. How can this be,
that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to
suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper, and everybody
cries, then they sing "It's Not Easy Being Green." Bill and Hillary
Clinton make a special guest appearance on the CBS Evening News to tell a
concerned Dan Rather that they will do everything they can for the
grasshopper who has been denied the prosperity he deserves by those who benefited
unfairly during the Reagan summers, or as Bill refers to it as
"Temperatures of the 80's."

Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton stage a demonstration in front of the ant's
house where the news stations film the group singing "We shall overcome".
Jesse then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's
sake.

Al Gore exclaims in an interview with Peter Jennings that the ant has
gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and calls for an immediate
tax hike on the ant to make him pay his "fair share". Finally, the EEOC
drafts the "Economic Equity and Anti-Ant Act", retroactive to the
beginning of the summer. The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate
number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his
home is confiscated by the government.

Hillary gets her old law firm to represent the grasshopper in a
defamation suit against the ant, and the case is tried before a panel of federal
judges that Bill appointed from a list of single-parent welfare
recipients who can only hear cases on Thursday's between 1:30 and 3:00 PM
when there are no talk shows scheduled. The ant loses the case. The
story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of the
ant's food while the government house he is in, which just happens to be
the ant's old house, crumbles around him since he doesn't maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow. And on the TV, which the grasshopper
bought by selling most of the ant's food, they are showing Bill Clinton
standing before a wildly applauding group of Democrats announcing that
a new era of "fairness" has dawned in America.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house,
now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once
peaceful neighborhood.”

The Ant, trying to rebound, finds a good job providing food for his family. After 4 years of productive employment, the CEO of the ant's company resigns due to declining stock prices and an investigation called for by the grasshopper. The CEO got a "golden parachute" equating to what the ant earns in a lifetime, much to the dismay of the ant who is laid off. It turns out the CEO greased the palm of his congressman, and used "questionable" accounting techniques to enhance his own stock options. Unemployment ensues for many of the ants fellow ant workers. Depressed because he can't find work, the ant starts smoking. A few weeks later, when the governments' cash flow dwindles due to caring for the grasshopper, and all of the layoffs caused by the CEO's bungling of the company. In order to recoup the revenue, the ant's congressman votes to tax ciggarettes 25%, as opposed to cutting worhtless programs, or having a general tax hike because it is an election year.

The grasshoppers' congressman is happy because poverty is rampant, craeting more oppressed voters who want to point the finger. The ant's congressmen is also happy, because the CEO just gave him a nice fat campaign contribution, so he can blame the grasshoppers' congressman for all the high taxes that the ant is paying for the grasshopper.

Everybody is happy, except the ant.”

This woman was my State Senator and is headed for the US Senate. She is what I would like to see in politics. Very hard working, no BS, down to earth, and obviously conservative. I hope Washington doesn't ruin her like soooo many others. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.”

Why is American Government basically doing this? Because the members of our government are stealing from us! Government influence is being sold!

A few key issues are being held high by our 2 political parties to demonstrate that the government is doing something. Everything else that is "wrong" is being blamed on the other party.

There's a war going on in America... and it's a publicity war!

Both parties have their own dumb*$$es, both "Conservative" and "Liberal" ideologies are inherently flawed. Balance is the key in everything... be a part of the solution, not the problem... our Government has that market cornered!”

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Senate voted itself a pay raise for the fifth straight year, boosting the annual salary to about $158,000 in 2004.

The House also agreed last month to accept an increase in the annual cost-of-living allowance, which gives all members of Congress a boost of about 2.2 percent in their take-home pay starting in January.

Sen. Russell Feingold, D-Wisconsin, who every year stands up against pay increases, said that with the economy still weak and many Americans finding it hard to make ends meet, it was "the wrong time for Congress to give itself a pay hike."

"This automatic stealth pay raise system is just wrong," he added.

Feingold said that with an annual increase of about $3,400 slated for next year, an election year, members of Congress will have received a $21,000 raise in their pay over the past five years.”

“Ralph is right on the problem , but totally wrong on the solution. Take the big out of the gov. and big business will shrink along with it.”

“Sorry but take the Lobbyists (can you say FAIR TAX) out of the system and you change it. Since the 90's the lobbyist boom has been the biggest growth item. Most of the "pork spending" was more or less bills written by lobbyists and just thrown in the hopper by anonymous politicians.

Want to clean it up....make the politicians accountable.”
