The Evil Dead/Army of Darkness series are fantastic.. Very twisted and hilarious. If you're looking for something campy and haven't seen them yet, they're a must rent!”

“Lyra - I was actually on a TV segment with him on MSNBC, where I used to work. My senior producer knew I was a big fan, so she put me on the air with him where he asked me trivia questions on the Evil Dead series. I got them all right. Our paths crossed a couple of more times after that.

He has a book out, "If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B Movie Actor". HIGHLY recommended reading, he gives great insight into what it takes to make a movie on a tight budget, and he's led a really interesting life. If you enjoy Corporal Nasty's posts, you'd enjoy his book, very similiar styles of writing!

if you have IFC (Independent Film Channel) not only should you check it out regularly, it's a great channel, but in October they show some of the best independent horror films.

Texas Chainsaw, Martin, Night of the Living Dead, Suspiria, etc.

These are all regulars, and show a good example of not only horror film, but of film making craft as well...”
