Who brings music on the trail?View MessagesTunes that I bring “are in my head as I hike, but at night I like to play my flute. It is a native american red cedar flute that was born in the Desert south of Pheonix by a mastercraftsman. Most tunes I play are free flow, but I have some nice peices that I have created out of freeflow that I have remembered and like to play...Some of you might have heard it on the hikes that I have been on.” 10:54:26 AM 8/12/02 “mmmmmmm id love to hear that i bet its very nice in the quiet of the night!” 10:57:40 AM 8/12/02 “stikmon, how did you manage to get a hold of a flute like that?” 7:23:40 AM 8/13/02 “i've thought about this one... I've been wondering if i should get an mp3 player... for those times when i get lonely, or need to have a hard rock fix... i definately don't need one for a week, but for a few months? i dunno... i'm trying to figure it out... is music worth it?” 8:02:26 PM 8/13/02 “for a few months? I'd say yes. I've got one with 10GB and I really like it.” 8:16:56 PM 8/13/02 “i think it'd be cool to have my whole rig way out in the wild and just rock friggin out! like really loud, man, that would be sweet. can;t find anyone to haul my amp and a generator in there though....... guess ma 12 string acoustic will have to do.” 8:52:26 AM 8/14/02
