Thank you.” 5:15:22 PM 1/02/10 “only if i can find a smartass jpeg that does the trick” 5:15:59 PM 1/02/10 “ok, fine THEY'RE waiting for us over THERE because they want us to see THEIR new baby. Let's pick up TWO six-packs on the way TO their house. Let's get some chips, TOO.” 5:18:24 PM 1/02/10 “CB - I concur!!” 5:19:12 PM 1/02/10 “man, when i get my teaching license, i hope they bring back ruler knuckle-raps last edited: 1/02/10 5:20:36 PM” 5:19:58 PM 1/02/10 Cart Fatigue “You know when you go to the grocery store or the super-duper grocery store and they have those carts for you to use FREE of charge? Yes, every once in a while you get one with a wobbly wheel but you can usually find a decent one. Then you navigate that cart up and down the aisles occasionally having to slow down for granny or make a WIDE turn around the folks having a conversation---each one standing opposite the other blocking BOTH sides of the aisle with their carts resting in the middle as they prattle on and on about little Timmy and Susie and their adventures at school. Sure your cart gets a little heavier everytime you add more groceries to it but you can still manage to get through the store and up to the checkout where the girl chewing gum like a camel makes comments about everything you've just purchased and some kid with pimples loads your groceries in the bags NEVER considering that maybe, just maybe, you loaded up the conveyor with your goods the way you'd like to see them bagged. Sometimes it's a bit of a struggle to push your cart full of bagged groceries out to your car, especially if there's snow, but you can usually push it through the parking lot without much of a problem. So then you stow the groceries away in your vehicle and get ready to leave but guess what? Your job isn't over yet. Oh no. You see that long structure made of steel pipes with the words "CART CORRAL" painted above it? Guess what? That's where your now empty cart goes! I swear it's true! For your convenience they're almost always located a few steps away from where you just unloaded your fvcking Ho-Hos. SO WALK A FEW MORE FEET AND PUT YOUR DAMN CART AWAY!” 3:53:49 PM 1/13/10 “my pet peeve: 5000 word pet peeves” 3:57:01 PM 1/13/10 “however, i agree 1000 percent” 3:58:23 PM 1/13/10 “My pet's pee is more interesting than cb's peeve.” 4:00:20 PM 1/13/10 “hehe ... you said fvcking Ho-Hos.” 4:04:48 PM 1/13/10 “And another: people claiming to be doing something more than 100 percent.” 4:28:34 PM 1/13/10 “i agreed ten times” 4:36:50 PM 1/13/10 “Pet Peeve: When you post a funny punch-line to something somebody else wrote on trailtalk, but it's post #51, therefore flipping to the next page and messing up the timing.” 4:41:28 PM 1/13/10 “I am such a boy scout that I will even straighten out the holy hell of cart carnage so I can put my cart away properly.” 4:41:52 PM 1/13/10 “I make a point of parking next to the corral. And where do you shop that they still have baggers?!” 4:42:10 AM 1/14/10 “I always park in the farthest away spot,no dings from carts and no fender benders.Walking is good” 4:54:29 AM 1/14/10 “I make a point of parking next to the corral. And where do you shop that they still have baggers?!” we have baggers” 5:33:57 AM 1/14/10 “I agree, NC. Sometimes I try to redistribute the weight of whatever I'm buying to try and minimize the cart wobble. We have lots of shopping cart (and driver) obliviots around here.” 5:35:55 AM 1/14/10 “Every grocery store I shop at has baggers. they will even take it to your car if you ask. (I don't ask BTW). Even walmart bags your groceries.” 5:38:59 AM 1/14/10 “Non...don't take this wrong..but that sort of stuff always seemed like "small stuff" to me.” 5:40:41 AM 1/14/10 “No baggers in the North, except at Krogers, who has mentally handicapped baggers and prices that I can't afford. Not at wallmart, not at meijers. The cashiers all have these horrible little bag carousels and they have to bag now. They do a lousy job so I do self check out and bag my own stuff.” 5:47:36 AM 1/14/10 “Me too---that's why I posted it on the "peeve" thread instead of the "really pi$$ed off" thread. As far as I know, every grocery store here in town bags the groceries. (One does give you the choice to do it yourself though.)” 5:48:30 AM 1/14/10 “Sass we have baggers at almost all the stores in Georgia.” 5:50:33 AM 1/14/10 “sass, our Walmarts require the cashier to bag as well. But the groceries still get bagged.” 5:56:40 AM 1/14/10 “I don't touch a bag at Kroger cause they are union. As I am non union I don't feel I am properly qualified to do a union job.” 5:58:28 AM 1/14/10 “Nigal...you are probably OVERqualified (LOL)” 6:10:33 AM 1/14/10 “~snort of amusement~ at Nigal... Wally World and Alde are the only stores around here that don't bag things for you.” 6:19:42 AM 1/14/10 “How bout some sports pet peeves: Using terms from one sport in another. Someone can not hit a home run in football or basket ball! There are no quarterbacks in basketball.” 7:44:58 AM 1/14/10 “I am sorry when you even mention Thugball its a pet peeve of mine...(LOL)” 7:45:51 AM 1/14/10 “Sass, we have a store here that the baggers even take your groceries to the car for you ;) I'm with ya on the carts....I always put mine away. Unless it's pouring rain and I forgot my rain jacket.....” 7:48:25 AM 1/14/10 “Good idea thrifty. How about gay porn actors who take up football? ”7:49:20 AM 1/14/10 “another pet peeve, someone using the same joke over and over” 7:52:58 AM 1/14/10 “Touche` me friend. Touche`! LOL!” 7:54:39 AM 1/14/10 “My pet peeve is people telling me to have a nice day. when they do that I tell them "Don't tell me what kind of day to have, I may have other plans"” 8:17:26 AM 1/14/10 “You guys need to learn to relax down there.” 8:20:52 AM 1/14/10 “"I seen"” 2:59:15 PM 1/18/10 “The acceptable postal abbreviation for the state of Michigan (for example) is MI, not Mi. or Mi or M.I.” 12:05:42 PM 6/03/10 “my my my” 12:06:59 PM 6/03/10 “Not my: MI.” 12:09:30 PM 6/03/10 its always about “you you you” 12:25:08 PM 6/03/10 “Don't go postal.” 1:42:12 PM 6/03/10 “When poster "A" hands poster "B" their ass in a debate and poster "B" responds with circular logic and insults. last edited: 6/03/10 1:48:13 PM” 1:44:08 PM 6/03/10 “When someone posts something for "free" on craig's list but really they just want someone to come cut down a tree or haul off some crap that they're too lazy to do themselves.” 1:46:49 PM 6/03/10 “Screw a cart corral..I am willing to help if you help yourselves; How tall are SUVs and Pickups? How SHORT are the corral signs in Wally World Lots? I will NOT search for the damn things, spend a few bucks per and elevate the frigging signs so I can spot them...THEN I will push a cart over to one...otherwise, continue to round up the free roaming carts fVCK Tards! last edited: 6/03/10 1:55:58 PM” 1:52:11 PM 6/03/10 “seriously, how hard is it to find a good carpentry job these days?” 1:59:46 PM 6/03/10 “Trying to find a decent carpenter 'round here is just as difficult. ;)” 2:23:53 PM 6/03/10 “Whatsup with trolls playing at being moderators? Ironic, eh?” 2:55:42 PM 6/03/10 “Getting sucked in on a discussion that has no beginning, certainly has no end and other than the principals involved doesn't mean jack schidt to anyone else. Some days, I just hate myself.” 3:07:11 PM 6/03/10 Jump to Page << prev
