My Dog's Birthday

“I got Buddur 4 years ago tommorrow.

He's made such a difference in my life, so much that I should've gotten a dog long before him. Who'd've thought having a dog could/would teach a person so much about life and living.”

“I have never forgotten my dog's birthday. I did come home from work to find some friends celebrating my girlfriend's birthay. The only thing that I could think to do, was wrap up an empty box to give to her. She opened it and asked what it was. I told her it was a "Stealth Bomber Jacket".

“I know what you mean about a dog making a difference in your life..I was so heart broken that I had to leave Buddy behind when I left...the ex wont even let me borrow him for a dayhike..sooooo. I went out and got another dog..so far he is wonderful..not as good as Buddy..I didnt have to train Buddy..he took to backpacking so natural..I did get his pack though..but I already decided that the new puppy will not wear that pack..its Buddy's and will always be Buddy's pack..( sniff )

I still have visitation rights to my ex-girlfriends dogs, and take them out dayhiking with me every now and then. I just make sure that she's not home when I come by to get the dogs, hee hee hee.

I can't wait to have my own dog again. Going to wait until I move out of the NY area though.”
