kayakin down a mountain?

was watchin espn today
saw people kayakin down ski slopes. it looked like so much fun. also saw em goin off roofs adn such down ramps. didn't looklike as much fun though. looked a little like the show jackass on mtv. anybody ever done the ski slope thing?

Haven't seen it on the slopes yet...but read an article about it a few years back in Outside mag. I think. And yes, they experimented with different sorts of waxes.

The major problem with this activity is, if you fly off a ledge...you basically slam down the mountain on your butt...there's no shock absorbtion. The shock goes directly up your spine...not good.
