damn its back to school and starvation a gain

“Well its that time of year again...when ya gotta pack away the camping stuff and trudge to school....

I cant complain tho...the summer was the best ive ever had with all my new trail expirences... I'm still a newbe by most of you ppl but i know ive learned much about myself.... So good luck to all you starving students out there and to the rest of ya too.”

“Yes it is school time again and I am offically broke. I now have both kids in college (MTSU in Murfreesboro, Tn). One is a Junior and the other is a Freshman. We moved my son into school yesterday (daughter lives in an apt near the school) and today is the first day of school, well at 10:00 AM I get a call from him telling me his car has been towed. I am like you just started and you got your car towed the first day. Well I was going up there this evening to take some things he had forgotten so I left work early and drove up to pick him up. One thing that I had told him yesterday was that I don't pay for parking tickets and being towed, needless to say he wasn't to happy to pay the $ 47.50 towing charge, then he found out he has to pay a $ 20.00 parking ticket at the school. Finally after about 2 hrs we get him taken cared off and I am heading back to work in Nashville at least I thought I was. When I was about 10 mintues from work I get a call from my daughter telling me she has a flat tire so I get off the interstate and turn around and head back to the school. Well by the time I changed her tire and put on the so called spare tire to get her through the night it was to late to go back to work.
What a first day of school, just wondering what tomorrow is going to bring.”

“Well the second day of school brings the phone call I am out of money that you gave me for books and I still have 3-4 more books to buy. I need to go in the book store business at schools, they make a killing and then don't give you crap when you sell them back.

At least he is enjoying school so far. He was a little angry that he got up at 7:00 for a racquet ball class at 8:00 and had to walk across campus for a 20 minute class meeting then walk back to his dorm room where he went back to sleep until I woke him up at 9:30...poor baby..lol
I can't even imagine having to play racquet ball at 8:00 AM. I am not a morning person.”

“cool. I checked out UNM on that page and the first thing mentioned was an excellent photography program. My son is going to work on a double major in photography and journalism.

The only list they made was #19 for "too many teaching assistants teaching upper level classes".”
