Evil lurking in TT

“I just discovered something very evil in TT, it must be new. It was a link in my post, that I did not put there. It was created on a key word,"travel" that opened a window for priceline.com.

I don't mind if you run your ads, but don't use my words to do it.


Let's see if it happens again.

the software was iMesh, a file sharing program that comes with an ad support called GAIN, gator something or other. My pirate will be disappointed.”

“pathman...goto download.com and get ad-aware... use it from time to time to clean out spyware..it also lets you download programs that come bundled with adwarez..you can load the good program..and use ad-aware to rip out the spy warez”

I was going to recommend Ad-aware but OPIE beat me to it. The first time I ran it, I found about 40 spyware programs/cookies on my machine. I run it occasionally now and it picks off a couple a month. Very good program.”
