FG, that would be the state where they enjoy Sihner Bock and a Bwol of Red!

Been a long time since I have seen any Pearl in a can. Lone Star is never in short supply in Texas, however.

425 punk-ass kids in a parking lot after midnight?

Good work HPD!!!

I can't stand seeing teenagers in small groups let alone by the score. They have absolutely no respect. They'll lay down their bicycles in front of a convenience store door and expect you to navigate around them. I just step on the spokes and give them the "I dare you to start something look".

Too bad a few so-called innocent kids got caught up in this. Like Tilt said, they should have been out in the woods or someone’s basement smoking dope.

I wonder if they still have Spaten dark on tap at Sholz's Beer Garten in Austin.

Back in the day, there were beer machines (probably modified soda machines) dispensing Lone Star Long Necks in the Co-Op dormitories 'round UT.

I have to go to Austin in a few weeks, ped. I will give you the report.

You are showing some age on the remark of getting beer from a machine. I can remember the machines in the frat houses at UT where Bud and Miller Lite could be purchased.....at .75 cents a can.

Man, what a rip off, even for 200 B.C.!

They have beer vending machines on the street in Japan. It's usually the "Old Milwaukee" of Japanese beer, Suntory, but you can buy a can as large as a liter from these machines. I bought a 375ml can from one just so I could say I did it.

Hey BIt. A friend of mine brought me a sixer of Kirin from Japan, except they were 4 oz cans! Apparently it's the vogue thing to drink a sixer for lunch!

Well, six of those would only be two 12 oz. beers, so that's not so bad for us Americans. But for a Japanese, that's quite a bit.

That's one of the great things about being gaijin in Japan. Unless you're drinking with hard-core alcoholics, you can drink them all under the table.
