Pacific Northwest Sudden TRIP

“well,just found out I need to get outta town for a couple of weeks.
I think i wanna go see something i never have and that is the Cascades and Mt Shuskan and all the other killer stuff in Washington state.
Problem is i dont know what the weather or bug situation is like this time of year up there.
Any info/help/suggestions are welcome.
I leave in 2 days and am coming from L.A.”
