I couldn't get in the driver's side, so climbed in the passenger side only to find that the battery had about two clicks left, then nothing. A co-worker came out and gave me a jump, then I groaned down the road until the 4WD thawed out.

Our high was 2 yesterday, expected to be minus 8 today. brrrrr!

“r u crazy? I stuffed the backpack, threw the snowshoes in the truck and drove the 40 minutes to the trailhead for the manistee river trail. As soon as I stepped out of the truck I had to ask myself if I was crazy...my reply...not this crazy yet. Threw everything back in the truck and came home. S'pose to be warmer tomorrow...I'll catch up with everyone then. S'pose to be 39 below in maine tonight?? Good grief. Thought it was bad here. Sorry, don't love backpacking that much.
