Nikwax... Igloo

“I just came from the local Joanne Fabric and they were selling Nikwax for wash-in waterproofing for fleece, wool and insulated clothing. It is called Igloo Proof Nikwax and it is on sale for $1.50... yes $1.50

Has anybody used this?

“I've got something here that's possibly similar: Nikwax Polar Proof. There's no pricetag, but I think it was quite a bit more than $1.50... more in the $10 range.

I'm pretty quick pulling on the raingear, so I haven't had the occasion to test whether it actually makes Polartec more water resistant or not.
