Flashing banner ad

“Anyone know how to block that flashing banner ad at the the top of the screen? It's an extreme eyesore and I can't even scroll down to get rid of it while the initial page is opening.

I have Pop-Up Stopper but it doesn't stop this sucker. Funny thing, I just had to "upgrade" my version of Pop-Up Stopper after a firewall glitch last week and never saw flashing ads before. Wish I could get the old version back.”

“If you click on the "Stop" button after the page finishes downloading, usually the flashing ads stop flashing.”

“just get Norton Internet Security. The firewall has add blocking built in. It takes away all those banner adds, but unfortunatly it doesn't kill pop-ups.”
