stickers??

“I'm on the look out for gear manufacture stickers...mainly looking for ones whose gear i own and love...i have petzl, western mountaineering, and MSR....i'm looking for Kelty, komperdell, camelpak..anyone know a place that has all of them in one spot..also looking for other stickers..like a TEXAS flag in the shape of the Texas Longhorns logo...paintball splats...i've searched online...all the sticker sites i found SUCK..thanks...hehe.”

“Ones off an interstate in your area. When I traveled to Texas earlier this year, as I stopped at gas stations (especially ones with a convenience-like store in it), they usually had a rack of stickers somewhere in it, and I found ones for all 50 states.

Another thought: contact REI. I talked to a sales manager there once, asked about the rep's that come into the store, and he went off topic telling me how some of them want to get more exposure in the stores. He did mention stickers.....you might want to check that out. Dirtyoldman, is right: Calling/writing to manufacturers is a good idea too.

BTW, I've been going to my Chateaugay, NY post office regularly waiting for some clothes from STP and holds from Mountain Gear for our school climbing wall. There are a lot of new Customs officers and one young woman asked me about my Alpine Club of Canada window sticker (a ram's head with crossed piolets behind it on a shield of green [trees?], white, [snow?] and grey [rock?].

'Is the Alpine Club of Canada like the Elks?' she asked.

'Uh, no,' I replied. 'It's like the American Alpine Club.'

She looked puzzled and I added, 'It's about climbing mountains.'
