I'm thinking of taking a week off, find a DEC campground, and do these mostly with dayhikes.

“Just a suggestion, but you might want to do an overnight for the 4 Sewards (Seward, Donaldson, Emmons, & Seymour). I did them as a dayhike last year and I think the only time I was any more tired (started around 8 or 9AM and didn't get back to the car until after 12AM) was when I climbed Sawteeth in snow up to my chest.

There's a DEC campground in Saranac Lake and there is also a free campground on South Meadows Road about a mile before you get to ADK Loj.”
