Note how newgirl carefully avoided the discussion of engineers' butts.

Marty, I haven't known to many engineers or their butts. I can tell you that mirco-biologist and chemist butts aren't that great. I do know a particular literature professor, that I may have worked for as a college freshman, that had an incredible butt. Oh, the memories. And don't even get me started on cowboy butts. I live in Montana, man, I know all kinds of nice cowboy butts.

Nice trip report and cool pictures SN. That 100k mile was a bumping one I guess. Sheperd Pass to Tyndall. "Tyndall I am coming!"

"...a particular literature professor, that I may have worked for..."

I guess it was so, uh, amazing, that you can't really remember if you worked for him?

Let's put it this way Marty. I spent alot of time sweating, standing at the copier, and wondering why I felt like a 14 yr. old boy w/ a Playboy.

It was really hard to work for him. It was my work-study job. I could have passed out on several occasions and all the while I was trying to be a really good worker and act like I knew alot about lit.

It isn't always the butt though people. We should keep this in mind. For instance, Phil is an engineer, but he looks like Sean Connery. That counts for a whole lot in my book. Ooooh, James! (HeHeHe!)

Any Freudian slips? "Why yes, professor, I just finished a good butt, I MEAN BOOK, last night."

No, thank the lord. It would have been the humiliation of a life time. However, if the man didn't notice my extreme lusting over him, he was retarded.

True tale of engineering woe
This is an honest-to-goodness true story: About 18 years ago I had a freshman engineering student in my drafting class who obviously out of place from the beginning. I tried to help him, but saw he was in deep trouble. I finally asked him why he wanted to be an engineer. His reply was, "On the TV show 'Dynasty' there is a guy who is a petroleum engineer and he gets all the girls he wants."

I helped him drop my class while there was still time.

BTW. I think pocket protectors are quite functional. I hope they make a comeback...maybe "designer pocket protectors" are in order here.

Well, these aren't exactly pocket protectors, but maybe the "pocket protectors" of the 21st century.

As an engineer myself ........
I'm hurt by all this talk that we, as a profession, don't have nice butts. I think that sometime in the future all the TT engineers ought to get together for a photo shoot just to show SN and NG and OM just how nice our engineer butts are!

BTW, I know a couple of female engineers at work (enginerettes if you will)that have great butts. Unfortunately I'm afraid to ask if I can see them in order to prove it.

Solitary, Thanks for bringing some sanity to his conversation, but the butt picture may just be better left to the imagination (e.g., see what happened to Snow Dude).

newgirl - Fortunately, the only ones who seem to be affected by my Sean Connery look are Japanese tourists and cute single girls in rural Montana.
