I will not forget Attorney General John Ashcroft, the man sworn to uphold the Constitution and the Bill of Rights including every American’s right to free speech, declaring that legitimate public debate was somehow unpatriotic because it gave aid and comfort to the enemy thereby making anyone who questioned administration policy a traitor.

I will not forget White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer’s warning to the American press and all citizens that they need to watch what they say and do.

I will not forget Ann Coulter saying that we need to execute people like John Walker in order to physically intimidate liberals.”

“Strat, you oughtta check out the book called " Soldiers of God". Its an interesting read about the Mujihadeen in the 1980's. Lots of Islamic extremism was directly/indirectly funded by our money...though we gave it to the Pakistanis who in turn passed it out to the groups most beneficial to themselves (nut-job fanatics) who would also have the most loyalties to a Pakastani state fighting against India on Pakistans other border.
