It's Hockey Season!!

“Tango, I'm not sure why some games aren't broadcast. Last night one of the games not shown as part of the Center Ice package was on Comcast, which is part of a sports channel package we didn't sign up for. However, last night the channel with the game was available, but just for the duration of the game. Another was on OLN.

“GB, I agree. Tucker should be fined for barely getting touched and then producing a false agony. I didn't see anything on the replay either.

There were awful calls all game, and most of them going against the Flyers. Even the announcers were saying that they weren't calling a consistent game.

I can't believe that Sharp came back to play after a skate to the face.

I liked that Pitkanen didn't let Lindros intimidate him. The announcers didn't seem to understand why Pitkanen took a shot at Lindros, but on the previous play Lindros was without his stick when Pitkanen came into the crease. He and another player dropped Pitkanen. I'd have taken a shot at him too.”

“I thought Joni played perhaps the best game I've seen from him, and that little scuffle with FancyBoy was okay in my book. Somebody should have knocked FancyBoy on his ass long before that. Joni does not strike by as a fighter, but he looked tall against FancyBoy. I would have bet on Joni.”

“Turn on the Thrasher game. There is the live feed with no commercials so you hear the announcers just gabbing through what would be the commercials. Cool!”

Joni Pitkanen has been playing really well since that first game.”
