No stick, no blood, just a swan dive. And he's not the only player who ever got teeth chipped or knocked out. It's an occupational hazard. That's been happening ever since the first bunch of people put on skates and ventured out onto a frozen pond and started pushing a rock around with sticks.

The zebras are going to be watching him. There is a penalty for diving, and one of these days they will start calling it on him. He's gotten away with it so far, but that will not continue forever.

“Jiri is doing fine in the hospital, tests havn't shown what the problem was. Wings had a press conference this afternoon about it. They called it "convulsions" not a seizure. In 2002 he was diagnosed with a heart condition, but they're not sure if its related to this or not.

I say, it's better to have the 4 extra games now than in, say March, when half the conference is racing to try and catch a playoff spot.
