“I was very pleased with the way the Devils played last night. They showed a lot more discipline, something I think they lacked in the first two games. I was also glad to see that all 3 of their goals were scored 5 on 5, pretty much all of their goals in the previous 2 were scored on the power play or the penalty kill. I actually am hoping they lose on Saturday for two reasons. 1) I want to see how well they rally back in the next game and 2) I don’t want them to have to sit idle for 6 or 7 days if they sweep.”

“Actually I have no idea. These two teams seem to have good nights and bad nights, so it depends on which team shows up for each city, which is more variables than I care to fathom out. Whichever team wins it has to face the Dildoes, which will likely prove to be a fatal attraction. All I can say for the Dildoes is that they are cleaning up the Rankers, but if by some twist of fate the Flutters go on to the next round, I'd rather they face the Rankers than the Dildoes.

Funny, but the Rangers always do seem to allow themselves to be intimidated well all the way back to the days of Emil Francis and Eddie Giacomin. You say boo as you skate past and they flop on the ice and beg for mercy.”

“I don't know. Besides last night, I don't think the Dildoes have been playing too well in the playoffs. Sure they scores big on the Rankers, but the way they've been playing a peewee league team could have done the same. The Rankers have been defeating the Rankers.”
