It's Hockey Season!!

“I did go into the Cathedral of Learning, but didn't get a chance to see the other two. I didn't have my camera with me have the time so I didn't get pictures of everything. I also went to Kennywood.

Maybe Brodeur is only effective with the trap.

Biron seems like the real deal. We've gone through so many goalies in the past 10 years it's hard to remember names. Esche is playing in Russia, Nittymaki is the backup and former fan favorite Boucher is working for the AHL Phantoms. And all this for a city that still lionizes Bernie Parent after all those years.

Biron has looked sharp in just about every game so far this season. He doesn't seem to let things bother him. He's the same after making an impossible save as he is when they score on him. They guy has ice water in his veins.

And Briere is the playmaker that Forsberg might have been if not for the most famous foot in the history of hockey. He's great to watch.

In fact, I've seen more fun hockey so far this season than I've seen in many years.

The scary thing is, there are so many new guys on the team that they still haven't had a chance to really gel.

The one problem for the Flyers was too many penalties. Jeez, they seemed to have somebody in the box for most of the night.
