I had the pleasure of being at the Flyer/Penguin game in 2000 that went 5 overtimes.. You want to talk about people on the edge of their seat!!!!

“I missed a good part of last night's game because of rehearsal. Got home in time to see the waning moments of the first overtime and then all of the second.

I got the sense that Hue was not happy with the result.”

“By the time it ended it felt like a Flyers home game.. Most of the Penguin fans had left, and the Flyer fans figured there was no place to go except for the hotel room.

I bought a shirt at the next game that said I survived and listed the number of minutes, shots, etc etc on the back.

It really was one of those things that was neat to be apart of (even of only as a fan).. Rumor has it that they were getting Pizzas brough in for the players between periods... It was after 3 till I got to my hotel room..

I was at the games for the Caps series and all three of the Flyer wins... The Fyers were down 0-2 heaading into Pittsburgh, and I think game 3 went OT.. Then Game 4 was the 5 OT game.. That only TIED the series.. After that the Flyers one the next 2...
