I Really Hate.....

“Every year at this time, the creepy little things come out to get me. I have an irrational fear of them.
If I see any in my house: SMUSH. If I see any too big to smush, then I have a giant can of raid to spray them with. Watching them struggle and shrivel up in the chemicals breaks my heart, but I can't stop myself. If I feel sonething crawling on my skin, I freak-out. Once I swamped a canoe trying to escape from a water spider that was hitching a ride.This time of year, there are spiders are EVERYWHERE! When I see them running on my car windshield, it gives me a perverse pleasure to run the wiper blades until they smear.
I know that I am way bigger then they are and they can't hurt me. Lately, I've stooped to hiking with the kids and sending them up the trail first, so I walk don't walk into webs. Funny thing is, I really like looking at them.”

“Wow, hope it's not me. I don't go much (like hardly at all). And I just bumped myself off the Michigan trip to be able to take an unfrickin'believable 4-night trip to places all over the Albuquerque area for only $50!! (due to being employed by a tour operator)

Hey, I am thinking of driving there! Am even thinking of getting a cheapo Jeep (old with high miles) so I can do that and have some time out of doors before the event. And possibly meet stikmon near Colorado Springs (or Denver, due to logistics) before hand.
