Will do, but not til May. Sound OK? Maybe we can all go for a run, and then drink beer. :)

Oh Lord, did I read this correctly? some poor soul still LIVES in Midland? I lived there from 12 to 18..graduated from there, in fact...lived on Applewood. Most of the people I'm still in contact with hated Midland...it was so clicky, based on your father's position in Dow...I used to run away from home and hide at Ted Doan's house who was, at that time, the president of Dow Chem..mom didn't DARE call me there...perfect! His son was my age but it was his daughter I was friends with...I've been back once since I left the States in 1969...trees are bigger, Dow Gardens have become a tourist destination instead of the private land I used to walk through sometimes, on my way home from school.

Hey, Le Subtil!

The article was on the front page of one of the inner sections of the Detroit News or Free Press during the past two weeks. It was the column on the far left of the page.

Basically, the writer was listing stories that made her shake her head this past year. So, it had kind of a back-handed spin to it.

I go to the library a lot, so the next time I'll try to locate the article for you.

But I got the same feeling I get when I see something about one of those MC5 retrospectives. Two degrees of separation.
