Did anyone catch Hannity & Colmes last night? It was shocking. The most effective anti-war spokesman I've ever seen was a right-wing military guy, Col. David Hackworth. I couldn't believe he was talking about children of the working class being sent to fight a war for "Bush & Blair" Oil! And that the only people who are pushing for war are the Bu#&%!$e chickenhawks! He even shut up Hannity."

“I recall a radio show during the last presidential conventions. Hannity was rounding up a group of liberal leaders who were demonstating outside the Democratic Convention for more of a voice. He had them on-air one at a time, wherein he proceeded to carve them up with his histrionics. outrageous claims, use of the mute button, etc.

One guy refused to play along, to his credit. I mean, some folks seem to like the sound of their voice over the air waves; this guy had more class. When Hannity began his spiel, the liberal guy said Thanks for the invite, but this isn't what I'm about, this isn't why I was asked to join you on the air, have a nice day, and he signed off.

Hannity was (briefly) speechless, with this empty air time, and no lamb to slaughter. So he gets his producer on air and asks her, What's up with this guy, how come he didn't stay on-air with me? The producer said that she lured the guy on-air by saying that it was a news interview with some reputable organization - she might have claimed that she represented ABC news. So, she misrepresented her show and basically, she lied to get the liberal guy on-air.

Well, Hannity thought that this was the most beautiful thing that he's ever heard! "Yuk, yuk. We sure pulled the wool over that guy's eyes! Yuk, yuk. He had the chance to be on the air and present his views to millions of listeners, and he blew it! Yuk, yuk."
