Where Is Anyone Going This Weekend

“I'm planning on going on a Family Backpack organized by the club I belong to. There will be some kids going also (Argh). I'm only going because I've never been to this location and I just want to do some more backpacking. We will be going to Clyde Lake (10,420) 500 Ft. Wide/.3 Miles Long in the High Unitas. It's a short hike/loop of about 5 miles. There are about 16 Lakes (named) and about 7 (unnamed) in the area. The largest is Wall Lake (10,041) about .5 Miles Long/.3 Miles Wide. Mount Watson (11,521)is located in this area also. I will try to get someone to go there with me if at all possible, I heard their is no trail though. This will only be an overnighter.”

“Leavin' Sunday for Cancun for a week. Probably (heh heh) will not do any backpacking, but will attempt "peak bag" the highest pyramid in Chichen Itza. I'll be thinkin' about y'all from my lounge chair as I sip on my ice cold beer....”

“I will spend some time in the Ocala National Forest doing some trail maintenence on the Oklawaha River. Then, over to Salt Springs for some fun trekking.
THEN hope to hit some of the Alexander Springs trails just for a look-see. The calendar is open.
I just now got done with a 3 mile walk on a logging road by my house at noon and it is HOT and MUGGY.
This weekend is supposed to be in mid 80s with scattered rain.
Fall is in the AIR folks !!!!”

“To the Snowy Range in south-central Wyoming. Scout campout at a NF campground with an elevation around 9800 ft. Possibility of some snow! There is a trail system near by to do day hikes(aka forced march) on.”
