I had a job offer with Cennex in Kulm, ND after I moved out of the law practice. I took one look at the previous winter's temps/snowfall/ etc. It took me about one day to decline.”

“Yeah, my oldest brother moved to Georgia. Birch and I went to visit for a week after Xmas about five years ago. An inch of snow fell and everyone stayed in for days! He, (the brother), definately has the advantage when that happens, having learned to drive on the snow. It's the "others" you have to watch out for down there.”

Funny thing no. 1: Going to the supermarket and watching people fight over the last loaf of bread.

Funny thing no. 2: Watching the redneck in the big 4x4 try to stop on an icy street going 50mph.
