Back to the numbers: Suppose 100 solo hikers do the AT of which 90 are men and 10 are women. Suppose that somewhere along the way, 2 of the women hook up one time, 2 hook up two times, and 1 hooks up three times...each with different guys, except one guy who hooked up twice. That is 13 solo hikers who got some (5 women and 8 men). That is 13% right there. Plausable.”
