Back in Indiana :-(
Hey everyone, I'm back. Although I'm sure no one really missed me. Just spent a week in Missoula MT at a photography workshop then four days in Glacier National Park backcountry. I'll post a trip report and photos soon. Bad news is I injured my knee on the four-mile downhill switchback from the Highland Trail. I'm going to the doctor tonight to get X-rays. I'm still walking, but can't go down stairs or downhill at all without extreme pain. I hope it's not too serious!

It's good to be back. Did I miss anything terribly exciting? Is Psycho squirrel still on the prowel? Somebody fill me in.

Newgirl, I really liked Missoula. A very cool little college town. However, on cold days, the pollution is bad in the valley.

The Native Americans never camped in that valley, so I have been told

Yep, really bad. I've heard it compared to L.A. Needless to say I don't visit my friends up there in the colder months much. It does have a great vibe though, don't you think?

I was there on a game weekend. Boy do they love their Grizzlies!

Oh yeah, it gets isane. Last yr. the fans ripped one of the goal posts out of the ground and took it on a little spree downtown.

I'm just glad they won. Things may have gotten ugly if they hadn't.

Did you go to the bars after? I'm sure it was ugly even though they won.

I did, but I'm not into the whole sports bar scene, so I went to the Top Hat and listened to some groovy blues.

Liz, yes, RMSP. Great School. I went for PhotoShop training. I work for a communications office and they sent me for the training. I put in the request as a longshot and was pleasantly surprised when it got approved. If you can find a way to afford it, I reccomend it. I'd love to go back.

I'm not up for the sports bar thing either John. The Top Hat is a great bar. I had a few too many White Russians there once upon a time. Fat Tire red beers are my favorite and Moose Drool also rocks. Glad you had fun in our neck of the woods.

Good news! I went to the doctor last night about my knee and he thinks I pinched my latteral bursa sack. He prescribed some anti-inflamation medication and a few exercises to strengthen the muscles on either side. Said I should be back to normal in two to three weeks.
