Does anyone own this tent and if so, what do you think? I've read the reviews on it which was helpful but I'm looking for a little more. Did it hold up in storms? Has anyone used it in winter even though it's a 3 season? Any other input would be appreciated. I've heard great reviews but it is so cheap I am a little skeptical. Thanks.

I have one (the MicroZoid, that is) and I love it. No need for a 4-season tent here in 'Bama, but I have endured some pretty serious rain in it and stayed dry as a popcorn fart. One word of caution; if you're over 5'11", this is probably not the tent for you.

I own the Zoid 1 and love it. Just the right amount of room for me. Sitting up straight is a challenge but can be done. FG's comments on height is applicable here as well. Very storm worthy.

I'm 6'. It's hard to tell the length of the tents themselves b/c the website shows the length including the vesibule area.
Micro 8' 4"
Zoid 1 7' 6"
How is it the zoid is almost a foot shorter?

I burned both of my tents. I use a Hennessy Hammock now. The most comfortable thing I've slept in. It weighs only 2.5 lbs.

I own a Walrus Zoid - its a nice little tent (a little smaller than the MSR Zoid - but basically the same tent). Its a very nice little tent... it seems like it would get you into the milder edges of winter camping with two layers of ground insulation.

I'm not sure what I'll do with mine. Right now I'm pretty taken with my Hennessey A-Sym (a little under 2 pounds).

I have the walrus microswift
great little tent. guys out stron and sturdy...haven't experience a tough weather situation yet, but I have a feeling I will in the middle of Oct.

Its really really a tight fit...I would consider selling it. I paid 80.oo from Buddah Bear...its mint!!! stakes and footprint...no charge to ship. I am eyeing the very expensive Mountain Hardwear tri-light 1. I think I will have enough rei points to get this item.

warning, warning, warning
there's a rumor out there that stikmon abuses his gear:)

jk, he's a good guy and wouldn't try to sell something after he screwed it up. one good thing is, if it's not broke it's never been used by him before...
