LMAO!! STEELERS W-I-N!!!

Some teams just do it when it's clutch time. Others choke.

Lets figure this was the "bad game" for the playoffs for the Steelers. Woke'm up quite nicely to go and win'em up through the visit to HPM and treebait.

GO STEELERS!

Yea, the offense sucked today. Our defense was right on and 1 bad play by special teams. Hope Big Ben is over whatever was wrong with him today.

Manning may be the poster boy (as he & McNabb were last year too - both named MVP's of their respective conferances) but Brady & the Pats will beat them again just as they did last year. All these other "teams" may have great individual players that are bigger names & stars individually than the Pats players... but don't forget football is a TEAM sport... and the Pats all share the ultimate team philosophy. Wins are what's important, not individual stats. Keep winning & the stats will come on their own! Stats like 21 straight wins...(and 29 of their last 31) unheard of in this day of free agency and salary-caps.

In our only real loss (to Pittsburg) we didn't have the benefit of Corey Dillons running. (As for Miami... well we'll allow Brady one bad game out of 31.)

The Superbowl??? Pats against the Vikings (or Atlanta)

My 2 cents!

First of all Manning shared the MVP with McNair not McNabb. Second of all the Colts aren't interested in individual records either. Manning set out 2 or 3 fourth quarters and only took three snaps on the last game of the season. He could of easily had pushed his touchdown record to 51 or 52. James did not play in the last game either and it cost him the rushing title. The Colts just want to win.

Well it looks like deja vu for the Colts. The weather morons are now predicting snow in foxboro for tonights game. Wind 15 to 25 mph. They failed to predict the snowstorm here in Indiana until 24 hours before it hit.

Marshal Faulk Drafted by Campers?
Did anyone else see that commercial last night where Faulk was drafted by a bunch of Boy Scouts to be a troup leader. He was wearing a backpack and hiking through the woods, very funny.

its not a case of pitt winning in the clutch and the jets choking. pitt is very very lucky that brien missed two makeable field goals at the end of regulation. you could say brien choked, but the jets as a whole did not choke (although the offense did not play well)

Their offense (Jets) only scored 3 points the whole game. The other 2 td's were scored one by the defense and one by their special teams.

The Jets lost because of their offense. The only 2 scoring opportunities their offense could come up with were two 40+ yard field goal attempts. I think they only managed to get the ball inside the Pitt 20 for 1 play the entire game and were pushed right back out beyond the 20. They were 3 of 12 on third down conversions and Pennington was unimpressive. While Pittsburgh was lucky to win the game The Jets were lucky to be in a position to win. The Steelers can’t make mistakes like that next week.

I sure hear that! I think Ben was nervous. He just couldn't get over it. Our defense kept us in it. Ben sure gave them all the praise.

But on the other hand in OT he marched them down the field so.... We shall see what we shall see.

last week was an aberration.

when the colts get their new stadium, the smartest thing they could do is to make it an outdoor natural turf field so they can learn to play in the kind of conditions they faced today.

the Goat, Ultrapecker , Arky & CrashBang
HOW BOUT THEM PATS! What do ya think now? How bout that BREWSKI? He DA MAN!

first of all Ultra... excuuuuuuse me... I meant McNair... just had a brain fart... doesn\'t matter anyway... McNair, McNabb... Brady\'s better than either!

the Goat: Do you really think that the Pats can cover on a muddy field the precise routes which Peytons targets run? Ans: what do you think NOW???

to answer your questions crash bang:
how good do you think new england would be if THEY had manning? Ans: We don\'t want him. They probably wouldn\'t be nearly as good with him!

do you really think tom brady would have gone to the superbowl twice if he was on the colts team? Ans: I think the Colts would be a better team with Brady

what else does brady do that gets him bigger wins? Ans: he keeps his COOL!!! that\'s his secret... ever notice how flustered & whiny manning gets when things aren\'t going well for him? You\'ll never see brady do that... he maintains his cool and goes on to the next play.

Next it\'s the Steelers... the Bus Stops Here!!!

again...just my 2 cents

nothing like a sore winner

if the colts want to win in january, theyre either going to have to lock up home-field advantage, or change their offensive philosophy and become a smash-mouth ball-control-type offense. that i dont see happening. and i didnt see manning whining. he sure looked glum, though.

and manning is still a better quarterback than brady. like you said its a team game. mannings had the bad fortune to be on a team with poor defense. bradys on a team with good defense. brady wouldnt win if he was stuck with the colts defense and manning would have had at least as many superbowls as brady if he had new englands defense. in the past, manning practically carried his team. brady has never had to. if superbowl championships are the measure of how good a qb is, then trent dilfer is more of a qb than dan marino. bottom line, manning is a better qb, brady one player on an overall better team
crash bang

and what do you call losing his cool? manning gets criticized at times for not showing enough emotion. i think youre just biased and maybe peeved at all the attention manning got for the touchdown record and the mvp award. you think hes over-rated and you wanna lash out a little. thats ok. i understand. i think bradys over-rated and so is his team.

go steelers!

The Pats, who's defense was not complete, had to fill the hole Ty Law left. And they STILL held the most prolific scoring offense of all time to 3 points. No matter where the game is played and under what conditions this was an amazing win for the Pats.

But then again when we weigh the importance of football to world events, it comes in pretty far down the list. If our favorite football team losing a game is the worst thing we have to deal with then we are WAY ahead of the rest of the world. It also doesn't tarnish the season the Colt had either. You should still be proud.

The Pats will lose to the Steelers by at least 2 td's.

Crash Bang, Manning is a better passer than Brady. I don't know about all the other intangibles. Dan Fouts was twice the passer that Montana, Bradshaw, etc... could ever dream of being but most people don't consider him one of the greatest. Was he always on a poor team? Probably but even Marino at least got his team to a stupor bowl. The good news for Manning is he still has plenty of time.

CaptainJim,
I've been a Pats fan since the days of Plunkett. Grogan is still one of my favs of all time. I even loved Hannah despite the fact he played at Bama.

I’m worried about the Steelers. It seemed like there linebackers spent more time in the backfield than the Jet’s running backs did. But when we compare both team’s opponents I’d say the Pats have the upper hand.
