treebait, as usual the Titans self destructed again. They held the Jags to -2 yards for their first 20 plays, then the Jags ran up over 200 yds in the next 40. Plus not get me started on dumbman Jones who let the ball roll from the 20 to the 1 yr line on a punt.

Oh well at least we made it interesting at the end of the game

just as i suspected, the colts defensive numbers have been inflated due to the fact theyve been playing weak offenses. cant say the same thing about the bears. wow. talk about a manhandling of the kittycats

Sorry, thriftyhike. Defense, offense, yes that's what we played in my day. Football, it was called. One had to be prepared to play the entire game. Our HS coach used to always tell the story about when he was an All-American at the Univ. of Ill. An excited player ran up to his coach, shouting, "Coach, did you see that tackle?" The coach replied, "I don't see good tackles, I hear them!"

Pats continue to play like an average to barely better than average team, glimmers of hope to the contrary. Since they are definite over-acheivers, they are probably below average in overall (healthy) talent.

Threepeat is looking increasingly unlikely.

Hey CB - there is always hope, even when it goes against the evidence - at least until actual elimination. The East is weak -so mediocre play is likely to get them in the playoffs, but without the first round bye. They have 'til then to get their stuff together.

The Seahawks and Giants was as good a game as the Cowboys and Broncos. Extra quarters of good football and the 'boys end up on top after losing.

Shockey's victory dance during the missed FG was too funny. I even laughed out loud when I saw it on highlights. What a cartoon character dumb jock he is.

Yeah, we had three chances to do it. Should have had this one in the bag. Overall, the Giants defense did their job and stoped them when needed. The offense rose to the occasion when it was needed. There was one piece left out of that puzzle: the field goal. And Feely is usually a pretty good kicker, too. Hell, I guess ya give anyone a chance to have a bad day. Feely had his yesterday!

Good game tonight, woo hoo! can't wait.

Giants wow! I have a feeling if they got another shot they would have asked for volunteers from the stands he he. and I lost a damn six pack on that Cowboys game...another botched field goal. Where have all the kickers gone?
