Can't win when you throw 3 interceptions. Also I think there will be a play reviewed by the NFL and a fine will be levied on (I forget) Bengal player for a horrible hit on Rothlesberger's knee.

Pretty good game and we still could've won if that last pick hadn't been thrown. Sad!!!

this years bears defense could be better than the 85 bears. theyve got better numbers, and they dont have the advantage of a good complementary offense that could possess the ball and take time off the clock like the superbowl shufflers did

i doubt the real colts will actually show up...an inter-conference game with nothing on the line, play off bid already earned, will probably have home field advantage wrapped up by then, won't want to tip their hat to a possible super bowl contender...don't want to risk an injury

then again, if being undefeated is important to them they just might play to win

42-0 after the first play of the second half. Seahawks then pulled their starters. It could have been 70-0 if they wanted to continue playing in the second half.

if indy is forced to play their starters at seattle (which they probably wont), it would be more than the seachicks could handle

thrifty, the jax game should be close. jax always plays the colts tough, its on the road, and jax is playing for a good playoff position (altho realistically the best they can hope for is the 5 seed)

unless denver loses at home to baltimore next week (unlikely), a win at jax does not secure the 1 seed, but it does secure at least the 2 seed. the seattle game may be meaningful after all (but i hope not)

edge for mvp
the edge has a 149 yard advantage over x-ander and everyone else (yards from scimmage), and is on pace for 3rd career 2000 yard season, in addition to holding the nfl record for lifetime yards from scrimmage per game.

or they could just be boring and give it to manning again :-)

Bud Carson, 75, creator of The Steel Curtain
Wednesday, December 7, 2005

By Bob Labriola
Steelers.com

One of the most important figures in Steelers history died yesterday. Bud Carson was 75 when he died on Dec. 7 of complications from emphysema at his home in Sarasota, Florida.

The question of why Carson deserves to be remembered as one of the greats in the history of a franchise that is in the process of completing its 73rd NFL season can be answered simply:

He was the coordinator who put the four defensive linemen together who went on to become The Steel Curtain.

Without Bud Carson, the quartet of L.C. Greenwood, Joe Greene, Ernie Holmes and Dwight White might never have been.

Seahawks are looking like a juggernaut now. Second week in a row they annihilated a team, and in spite of some bad officiating that favored the opponent, they came up with another lopsided score 41-3 and rested the starters again. Unfortunately they gave up 3 points this week because of some sloppy defense.

As for the Colts, what can you say about Peyton Manning... a god who trips on his own feet and nearly injures himself. Pfft. Homefield advantage won't do them much good because New England is regaining their Superbowl form.

Dominating road win? You must be referring to Seattle over Philly 42-0 last week.

Fact is, Manning played in the final 2 minutes of the game against a team with no offense (who is that Jaguar QB?) because the game was that close.

philly?!?!?! omg, i cannot believe how much you are bragging about wins over toothless teams

jax is a team that relies mainly on defense. the change at quarterback was meaningless. until the final few minutes, it was a 23-point game. jax was fortunate enough to recover on onsides kick, and the colts went into a prevent defense so as not to give up the td quickly.
