No doubt. I was thinking Packers must have felt at home.

I hope Brett Favre plays one more year.

"Cowboys fans, once again, have fallen strangely silent..."

I think I'm the only Cowboy fan who's posted on this thread in years. I've had very little to crow about since 1997. It's the Dallas Cowboys soap opera I find so entertaining. Outrageous personalities like T.O., Parcells, Roy Williams, Tony Romo, and the late season collapse are typical of the entertainment they've been offering. A fumbled snap to lose by a point in the playoffs has so much more drama than the alternative - they make the field goal and Seattle drives in the last minute to beat them anyway.

Romo's first 5 games were amazing though.

And so the Eagles (who Pottymouth says suck) beat the Giants again (ho hum) who apparently worse than suck.

And the Plowboys and TO suck even worse than that.

Life is good!

Eagles have their work cut out for them from here on.

Go Colts!!!

Heard a story that some of the Colts fans that made the trip to Baltimore are wearing shirts that say "They're not saying Boo, they're saying mooovers." A reference to the 1984 middle of the night move to Indy.

Colts D. Impressive. Baltimore should have challenged the Clark catch with about 3 minutes to go that gave the Colts a first down. It wasn't a catch.

Well, the Colts already got their money's worth out of Vinatieri.

What is new - especially with the Colts D, is that they have taken their game up a notch in the playoffs. So far, I've been under-rating them.

Pats are up against an awesome team tomorrow. I'm hoping we get to a Colts-Pats re-match in Indy next week.

What a fun couple of games tonight. And now it looks like the Saints are going to take it.

Who knows? It might be a Colts-Bears Superbowl. I just don't know who I would want to win that one.

Saints/Colts Superbowl is what I'm hoping for.

I've always loved the Bears but, I've got to pull for the Sea Hawks today for the Saints.

If I just got back from a hike and heard Brady threw three interceptions against San Diego, I would have been lead pipe certain that the Chargers won.

I have to root for the Saints, too... but having followed the Patriots through the lean years as a kid, I'm all for having them look like a dynasty for a while.

Hope: Pats beat the Saints in the Super Bowl in a great and close game.

Looking through the Stats from the San Diego - Pats game one stat sticks out as showing what the Pats had going for them: Fumble recoveries.

There were five fumbles, two by the Pats and three by the Chargers. The Pats recovered all five. The chargers had much more physical talent on the field, but the Pats had a persistent mental toughness and awareness that allowed them to grab more of the opportunities that presented themselves.

I was sad to see Tomlinson so pissed off about the Pats celebrating center field. I don't know if any Pats did anything un-toward, but LT seems like a classy guy. Still, I'd say that the mental toughness and ability to seize on opportunities is more of a reflection of the coach than the celebration.

Considering the Patriots were penalized 15 yards for unsportsman-like conduct for the incident, it seems the team without any class was the Patriots. I will chear for the Colts next weekend when they play the Patriots. I won't support a classless organization like the Patriots.

It wasn't just celebrations, it was taunting.

"LaDanian Tomlinson, usually very mild-mannered, became incensed after the Chargers' loss to the Patriots yesterday when some New England players began mocking Shawne Merriman's sack dance on the Chargers' logo."

The unsportsmanlike conduct was for removing helmets in celebration.
The Charger's logo was mid-field. I'm not sure they Pats cared about Merriman's sack dance - they certainly didn't get to see it in this game (and ain't there some taunting involved in doing a sack dance?).

Chris Carter says this is Indy's year to go all the way. He could be right, Indy's defense the last two games really surprised me - if they can keep it up on D and Manning is in typical form they could do it.

What amazed me was how totally stupid the Chargers played. Trying to pick up the fumble rather than covering it, the head butt and a few more. Incredible. New England knows how to win in the playoffs; the Chargers weren't outplayed, but they were schooled.

I'm with you CB. Speaking for the average American, we would like to not see the Patriots or Bears in the SuperBowl again. Nobody in America really wants to see Rex Grossman in the SuperBowl... Good Gawd. The Saints are the feel good story and the darlings of the NFL. I wouldn't put it past the NFL to fix things to ensure New Orleans gets in. As for the AFC, the average Joe has fallen in love with the Payton Manning commercials. Come to think of it, I can't even recall what the heck he is selling. He's just so loveable. That' how cool he is. (Hang on, I'm almost done). Furthermore, the last election in November showed if nothing else that America is sick and tired of the party that gave us "Patriot" fries.

No Patriots. No Bears.

Manning has a different swagger this year. He looks determined to win it all even if the offense isn't playing as well. Maybe all those close games they had all year will payoff.

If the Colts lose at home to the Pats in the AFC Championship game the media will rip Peyton Manning for eternity. I think he's done getting ripped. I'm sure too this game at home will put alot more pressure on the Colts. I'd rather they played out in San Diego myself.

The Colts defense will have to show up to play again.

That's all I got to say about that.
