The traitorous Colts will always suck; Juhnny Unitas gives them the finger from his grave. Go Pats. Go Saints.”

i saw the reports all weekend from baltimore about this...i don't get it...why are they mad at the team or the city of indy??!!..one man was responsible for that and he's dead...time to get over it and "MOVE" on

As I like to remind old pissed-off Baltimore Colt fans, they pretty much let the team go by not filling the stadium.

The Washington Redskins have been filling the stadium for over forty years in good times and bad.

I was reading that polls had Indy and the Saints as the most rooted for teams in the playoffs.

Reading up on the Colts, I've seen that the Colts D has been recovering from injuries - so that the Colts defensive resurgence shouldn't have been such a surprise. It did surprise the heck out of me though, being ignorant of that.

Of the 8 playoff games so far the two lowest scores were against the Colts.

Thrifty - rational thinking has about as much to do with sports as it does to fuego on TT. Artie Donovan flips off the Colts, so do Gino Marchetti, Lenny Moore and Alan (The Horse) Ameche. Of all the old Colt players I could speak with, only Steve Myrha refused to flip off the Indianapolis crowd, but only because he was mooning them. Oh, and one other thing, Peyton Manning looks like a girl.

Jesus plays soccer silly. How do you think he relates to all the South Americans?

Besides, Jesus don't choke. Wait a second, he was asphyxiated. OK, he did choke. But just that once!

Old bitter Baltimore fans can shove it.
They abandoned the team in the '70s when they were suckin' schit and.........whoops!!!
The buggers left town!!

How is attendance at Indianapolis?

Well Nimblefoot, he ain't exactly a pretty girl.

We here in Ohio have little love for the Baltimore Browns.

Burn in hell Art Modell.

Thrifty - Packers aren't my team. Actually, I have nothing against Indy, although the old Unitas/Ameche Colts were special to me and much more interesting as people. I'm just trying to get a football fuego going. My lament is really over the change in football from the days of beer swilling, no face mask quarterbacks like Bobby Layne, linebacker flattening Joe Kapp, guys who had to work for a living in the off season to this era's steroidal inflated pretty boys. I doubt that Peyton or Eli Manning have ever publically farted in their pc lives. It's sort of like todays hikers with their titanium pooper scoopers.

i knew about the colts injuries, but the turnaround was still surprising. bob sanders being 100 percent and starting rob morris are the two biggest factors. plus, it looks like theyve spent all their extra hours on tackling drills

Nigal, no, I'm doing pretty good, slept well, had my coffee, bowel movement while reading the morning paper was fine and I got a week long pass from the home. Life is good, just trying to stir the pot a little. Only fun.

Cleveland certainly does have a gripe with the Modells.
The fans were packin' the stadium for the party regardless of the team's success.

we've sold out the last three seasons before the first game ever stated...granted, we currently have the smallest stadium in the league but that's all about to change in '08

i can't remember the last black out we've had...i hope the new stadium doesn't ruin that

nope, retracktable roof...plus the endzones will open up too...you should check it out next time you're in town...it's going in a couple blocks south of the dome...you can already tell it's a stadium

Sweet! Is the dome staying up, or are they removing it once this field is complete?

Wouldn't it be sweet to see (SP?) Viniteri kick a winning FG with no time left on the clock next week?

Living up here in the arm pit of Indiana, I am a little torn on who I want to win. To be honest, I would like Indy to win it all. If Indy escapes the Pats, then I want them to play the Bears. I think Indy could beat both teams, but it would be cool to see Peyton dismantle the Bears.

KA-BOOM, gotta make room for parking for the new stadium...maybe i'll throw a demolition party when the blow it up LOL

i've thought about that too but in order for that to happen the game would have to be close...i'd much rather them just blow them out

While it would be nice to see someone blow the Pats out, I still think the best way to defeat them is by one point in the closing seconds with a long ass field goal.

actually, i'd rather see manning throw for 400 yards and 5 touchdowns and addai get about 120 on the ground, while the defense shuts em down and keeps their second straight playoff team out of the endzone

Wow so many Pats haters here.

I'm going to love it even more now if they pull an upset in Indy, but I'll try hard to show as much class as Arclite did after the BCS championship game (can't promise the post will be as long, as thoughtful or as well written as his, however).

I hope the Patriots celebration shows more class than the one in San Diego one did. No one seemed to bat an eye when Merriman went into his sack dance after a hit on Brady (Brady'd already gotten the ball away), but that doesn't meant he Pats shouldn't have shown more class.

i'd hardly call a 4 beating a 3 an upset...i hate it when the media does that...our local paper called it an upset when we beat the ravens...again, a 3 beating a 2 is hardly an upset

I remember at the begining of the NFL season CNN had a little blurb listing the most popular teams in the country. The Indianapolis Colts were third. I can't remember who was first. Jacksonville was 32nd.

if they were playing anybody else but the bears, i wouldve been rootin for the saints. sean payton is an awesome coach. not since the jags and the panthers went to the conference championships in only their second year in existence has a coach done so much with so many new players. reggie bush is a future superstar, drew brees already is, and overall they are a classy organization. throw in the underdog thing and a feel-good comeback story of the year aura, how could you not root for them?
