helpful tips
i am going on my first trip..i am going to costa rica backpackinh and whitewater rafting...any helpful tips...i had a friend of mine tell me that i could get some get info here

If you are really going to Costa Rica you'll have to hit up The Blue Marlin Bar for me in San Jose. It will be worth you while if you're willing.

I'm betting that for backpacking in Costa Rica, you'll need "the usual stuff" plus bug spray, a netting hat or shirt (?) to keep bugs off, a good water filter, and nylon clothes for quick drying. Is it real wet, steamy, rainy there?
