After seeing a picture of Lisa, I might just get some new gear. LOL

She is one hot mama. I think if it gave me a body like hers, I'd take it up too. Plus, it seems to be a whole lotta fun.

She looks like she hasn't had a decent meal in weeks. Quick, somebody throw a cheese burger down her throat!

I've been bouldering for years and I still don't have a body like hers...... Of course I'm a 42 year old guy...

Bouldering is like how it sounds.. it's rock climbing on big boulders, instead of cliffs. Since you're only going up 10-15 feet in most cases.. ropes aren't used.

Thanks for the explanation Artex - I had no idea what bouldering was. When I was in Acadia, I saw a woman hiking with this huge pad rolled up onto her back. I asked her what it was and she said it was a bouldering crash pad. I said thanks but thought WTF is that!

Soooo, when we goin bouldering Arty??

Whenever you want Pennsy! I've actually been wanting to get into rock-climbing lately, and from what I understand bouldering is a great way to start. So are indoor rock climbing gyms. Perhaps we'll have to do some bouldering in Maine!

Artex-

You are close to one of the best rock climbing areas on the east coast...

Head to the Shawnagunks (sp?) near new paltz...all sorts of world class bouldering and rock climbing right there in your backyard.

Gyms are also a good way to start--I joined one when I moved out here to the other coast.

Cool, thanks bongofreek. Yes, "the Gunks" are very close. Something to definitely look into..

I just wish i started climbing before I moved out here...

If I ever come back, I'd be there every weekend.

Then a bouldering we shall go Artex! Hmmm.... I think there's only 1 weekend between now and December that I won't be on a hiking trip. Gee, life sucks!
