What's the difference between a chigger and a turkey tick. How do you know if you have one vs. the other. Damn my ankles itch! Blasted critters!

turkey tick is the pc term for chigger, only ignorant southerners use the term "chigger" nowadays.

BB, I will let you slide on that due to the painkillers......

You better be glad you didn't insult our grits though,,,,that might have caused me to send one of my former clients to see you...

Gee, thought this would be HPM's thread.
Budda, chigger is the correct terminology as per my zoology texts. So sorry to dissapoint. Dang Ohio boy trying to sound smart again. ;)

HPM got lit up a few hundred times this past weekend by chiggers, ticks, mosquitos, ants, flies, etc. Looks like chicken pox.

Skeeters and no-see-ums have no place in this world.

They're fish food. Fish love black flies and gnats even though we hate them.

Preparation H
Spirit coyote, during skeeter season, I always carry a small container with Preparation H in it. But you have to apply it to the bite BEFORE you start scratching. Just like the ad says, "stops swelling and itching". It really works!
