I made a statement on the sipsey trip that in all of our married life my wife and I had never had an argument. Some there couldn't believe this, but its true. I must say she deserves the credit for this. I have been blessed to find such a companion.

“yes it is very hard to work togeather and live togeather.. we have had a period of "adjustment" when we first started working togeather.. but once the rules are set, than no problem. We started out with a auto repair shop, which i am a mechanic also, than added towing to it.. so i usually do the paperwork and some shop work, but mostly towing.. Its pretty cool.. So really we are not always togeather all the time... which im sure is a blessing, but you cannot take any work related problems home.. this is a must for any relationship. thank you for asking.”

“10 3/4 yrs. the first time. A two-year breather (hmmm, actually it felt like I couldn't breathe at all...), finally gave up worrying about it and, voila, along comes Reino. Both of us swore we'd never get married again, then we did of course, in '92 -- but we did it on Leap Year Day so we wouldn't have to think about it every year, only quadrennials for us, lol. So 12 years together, 10 years married this time around.”

“Sixteen years this past August, on the day that also happens to be my birthday. I just got back from Maine and Hubby had to go off this morning on a business trip, so I'm planning an anniversary celebration that is off the calendar. Boy will he be surprised! We really haven't celebrated our anniversary in ages due to various circumstances, like his relatives hovering around. So this will be neat. Is Hubby my soul mate, best friend, etc.? Nah, we are pretty different. But we have had a good sixteen years, have two terrific kids, don't fight much, and I hope it continues for many more years.”
