Hay Maple....
Saw Jerry Jeff Walker in the mid 70's. He came out about 2 hours late drunker than a skunk. The first half hour of the concert stunk. He couldn't play or sing well at all. After that he sobered up somewhat and did a version of Mr Bojangles that had tears in everyone's eyes.

Have seen Buffett several times.

Saw Flo and Eddie at Epcot a couple of years ago. I was suprised how good a show they put on. Had a great time.

Donman, was NIN and Bowie freakin' skeery? I would love that. Also, I have a friend who used to think that that NIN song said, "I want to f you like an antelope." I heard her belting that out one day and I was all, "Shut up. You idiot. Why would they have a lyric like that." It was hilarious.

I always say the same thing, Newgirl. I would love to have seen a lot of those bands, in their heyday, not on reunion tours.

Like Gabriel back when he was with Genesis, or CSN&Y in the early days. Not to mention the Doors. And, I missed my one and only shot to see Queen, for no good reason.

Oooops, my list is missing Duran Duran & some of the local boys like Loverboy, the Headpins & Trooper. Forgot Prism, too

I used to live several miles up the road from Bob Seger. Had a sloping front yard, really a meadow. He used to blaze that puppy at high speed with his riding mower then have a bunch of friends over hitting golf balls towards the road. Funny stuff.

Newgirl, although I've grown away from listening to Phish. Their concert is one of my most memorable.

It was a three-day concert in Upstate New York at an abondoned air force base. About a half million people showed up and for three days we were oneof the largest cities in the state of New York with the lowest crime rate. Well, unless you consider drug use a crime.

All you could see for miles was tents although it was well organized. There were streets and blocks and campers in each block formed a sort of clan and erected a flag with their name so you could find your way home. If you couldn't find your way home, there were plenty of other places to go.

Phish came out the night before the concert was supposed to start and played a long bonus jam session.
