The first half hour of the concert stunk. He couldn't play or sing well at all. After that he sobered up somewhat and did a version of Mr Bojangles that had tears in everyone's eyes. Have seen Buffett several times. Saw Flo and Eddie at Epcot a couple of years ago. I was suprised how good a show they put on. Had a great time.” 11:03:40 AM 10/11/02 “Can't possibly get all of them, but here's a few Frank Zappa '81 & '84 Bowie '83 & '87 & '90 Gabriel '83 & '93 Genesis '84 & '92 ZZ Top '84 & '90 Yes '84 & '91 Supertramp '84 & '97 King Crimson '84 & '95 Niel Young '84 & '93 Jethro Tull '84 & '91 Adrien Belew '85 Robert Plant '85 Kim Mitchell '86 Bob Seger '86 FM '86 Georgia Sattellites '87 Pink Floyd '87 &'94 The Who '89 & '96 Anderson, Bruford, etc '90 Colin James '90 Tragically Hip '91 & '92 & '93 Tom Petty '91 Dire Straits '92 Tom Cochrane '92 ELP '92 Def Leppard '92 Springsteen '92 U2 '92 Midnight Oil '93 Pearl Jam '93 CSN '94 Meat Loaf '94 Eagles '94 Aerosmith '94 R.E.M '95 Page & Plant '95 Styx '96 Kansas '96 Journey '99 Foreigner '99 I know I'm missing some, from those outdoor festivals, that you can't even remember the next day” 11:07:01 AM 10/11/02 “Forgot the Stones.... how could I” 11:09:59 AM 10/11/02 “Ten Years After Humble Pie The Who - twice Bob Seger - three times, including the recording of "Live Bullet" at Cobo Hall Lynyrd Skynrd - three times BTO Kansas ZZ Top Eagles - Hell Freezes Tour Rolling Stones - Voodoo Lounge Tour Eric Clapton Bob Dylan Molly Hatchet Black Sabbath John Prine Johnny Cash - I took my parents ;-) Garth Brooks Tim Mcgraw Allen Jackson John Denver Gordon Lightfoot Aerosmith - though I don't recall much of it. Their concert is one of my most memorable. It was a three-day concert in Upstate New York at an abondoned air force base. About a half million people showed up and for three days we were oneof the largest cities in the state of New York with the lowest crime rate. Well, unless you consider drug use a crime. All you could see for miles was tents although it was well organized. There were streets and blocks and campers in each block formed a sort of clan and erected a flag with their name so you could find your way home. If you couldn't find your way home, there were plenty of other places to go. Phish came out the night before the concert was supposed to start and played a long bonus jam session.” 12:31:26 PM 10/11/02
