(Dating myself here) I saw him with Creedence in 1969 at Madison Squiare Garden. At that time, he never did encores. Is that still the way it is.

Don't know, S-Girl, but that was the word about him back then. He never did encores. Saw him on a TV concert about two years ago. His voice sounded as good as ever.

Treebeard- Fogerty's voice is still great. I love those scratchy voices or liquor throats... teehee!

CMB - I saw Dark Star in Knoxville, and at the Terrapin Hill Festival in Harrodsburg, KY. I am definitely going to that shindig again!! Heheheh :D

Oh, and lemme at BLUE MOTHER TUPELO. Speaking of scratchy voices. That woman kicks a$$!!!

I can't get enough of Junta. There is this one song.. I think it is called UB40? The lyrics are "Boy, $hit, Man" and something else... but I can't figure out what they are saying? I am thinking they made their own sounds up, but it sounds so cool!! I can't imagine what they would do live. I bet they get really into it. I heard they did awesome stage shows!

I saw the Flaming Lips and EELS last night at the Uptown Mix in Nashville. The music was great but people watching was the best esp the girl in the blue tube top and the pink tutu...rofl. It was interesting to see all of the different age groups there. At least I wasn't the oldest...lol
