“Well... we're gong to be grandparents! Gulp! Our oldest announced this week she and her honey are going to be parents in late May. Shish, this puts a new twist on a sexy Haloween costume. But hey, I'm gonna have a backpacking buddy I can train right!”

We're finally in the new house in NH. It's great. Just under five acres, all woods and no lawn to take care of. In our first three weeks in the house we'll have had three out of town visits from family and friends for a total of 13 days of visiting time. It's nice to have company come visit, but as a result, we're still unpacking.

Sorry we'll have to miss the Halloween bash this year.”
